    Hello Professional Nurses,

     As we finish up February of 2026, here are some important dates to remember,

    • Certified Nurses Day (March 19, 2026): Honors certified nurses for their commitment to excellence and patient safety.
    • National Nurses Week (May 6–12, 2026): Celebrated annually to recognize the profession, culminating on Florence Nightingale's birthday.
    • National School Nurse Day (May 6, 2026): Celebrated on the Wednesday of Nurses Week.
    • International Nurses Day (May 12, 2026): The 2026 theme is "Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives".
    • National Skilled Nursing Care Week (May 10–16, 2026): Features the theme "Moments in Bloom".
    • National Neonatal Nurses Week (September 12–18, 2026): Dedicated to neonatal nurses and APRNs.
